Homer invited me up to Wild Bill’s to go see him play with Dixie Duncan! Dixie was AMAZING and I had a blast meeting Max Eve and Kim Bates along with Dixie’s girl Model CK. Hit the link to check out the pics:
Toy Devil’s had their album release party at Vinyl featuring Brain, Sneaky Hand, Winter Ransom and of course Toy Devils as the headliner. I had a blast seeing all my friends in one spot and seeing fellow photographer Kamil in the green room. I started off at Darwin’s to shoot Swamp Funk, then headed into town in time to catch Winter Ransom as they were getting on stage. After Winter Ransom, Toy Devils TORE up the stage and put on a helluva show!

I finally got a chance to see Liz Melendez play at Sideline’s on Saturday! She put on an amazing show and I’d love to get her booked at Darwin’s in the future.
After the photo shoot with Waller, I stuck around and shot their show for a bit before heading back to Darwin’s to shoot Seminole Jackson. I had a great time hanging out and would like to thank all the members of Waller for having me out!
Truett Lollis: Friday after Stoney Brooks I went to check out Truett play at Sideline’s. He had John McKnight on drums and was jamming with the opening band by the time I got there. It was great to hear Truett play a little more rock, and I loved his version of “A Simple Man”!
Nathan Morgan: After the Breeze Kings I went to check out Nathan Morgan Trio at Nik’s Place. These guys were awesome, playing a great combination of hard rock and blues!
Breeze Kings: Wow! We saw a side of Jim Ransone we’ve never seen before at Darwin’s! The Breeze Kings put on a phenomenal set on Saturday at Darwin’s!
Atlanta Boogie: I don’t know if you know, but Mike Bourne is AWESOME! Between his skills, that sweet Silvertone he’s rockin, and Paul Diffin’s upright slap bass style, Atlanta Boogie has an incredibly unique sound! We loved having these guys out at Darwin’s! Mike Bourne will be back on Friday with Stoney Brooks, come check ‘em out!
