On June 25th, an epic concert broke out at Star Bar in Little 5 Points. A The Color, Winter Ransom, and Jungol came together and put on AMAZING show!

This was my first time seeing Jungol. I’ve met the Yoder brothers briefly a few times in the past, and I saw them perform one song at their Birthday Bash earlier this year, but this was my first time seeing them in concert.

Wow!

These guys were phenomenal! I could only expect an awesome show when half the audience consisted of other bands who’ve all been praising about Jungol to me for months! Well, you guys definitely have a new fan!

Star Bar sold out, and the floor was PACKED by the time Jungol came on. It sounded so good next to the speakers and I was right next to Josh the whole time, so I decided not to change angles. I didn’t really think I could get anywhere else up close again if I left.

I met Winter Ransom a year ago and have been following them since! These guys put on an amazing show every time they hit the stage. Winter Ransom is the reason I came out, and when I hear these great musicians talk about how amazing Jungol is, well you’ve got my interest.

This was my second time seeing A The Color and they were just as good as I remembered. Ethan makes photography a little more challenging since he keep a light on his microphone, but it also lights up the stage for some wicked shots!

After Sushi we went to the Toy Devils + FYN concert at Sweetwater Bar & Grill. They put on a GREAT show as usual! I was a little disappointed in the turnout, but I guess that’s what happens in Gwinnett..

Went and grabbed sushi at my favorite sushi spot in Atlanta, Kiku! I’ve been coming here since they opened a few years ago, I finally decided to bring in my camera and grab some shots of some of my favorites!

Our friend Chris invited us to come out to Lake Lanier to hang out on the Pontoon Boat. It was supposed to rain, but we went anyways. We ended up being just outside of the storm for most of the day, it was great! 5 dogs, water, guitars, booze, and grilling steaks on the boat!

I went and saw the Andrew and the Disapyramids play at The Drunken Unicorn on Saturday June 4th. They put on a fantastic show! I dragged Lindsay and Akin to the showing saying “You’ve GOT to see this band! I want to hire them for our grand opening at Darwin’s!

I’ve already spoken to Drew and Jordan about it, the next step is to figure out when we’re opening!

Brandon came back to Atlanta for a few days, we took a fishing trip at Stone Mountain and got drunk by the pool with a bunch of folks. Good times! While in town, Brandon insisted on checking out how Atlanta Koi & Pond was doing. We’ve been popping in and out of this place for years, and it’s amazing to see how he has transformed his yard into an amazing koi breeding spot! Here’s some pics.
