Marshall Ruffin – Several weeks ago I met Tiffany Leigh of the band Waller who gave me a free pass to see her band at Park Tavern. It just so happens Marshall Ruffin was opening for them! Marshall was suggested to me by a few other folks and he put on a great two-piece set!

The Serenaders – The Serenaders were up next and put on a good set. I was really entertained by Joel’s standup-slap bass technique, he’s one of the most animate bassists I’ve seen aside from Jacob Holliday!

Waller – Headlining the night was Waller! I’d met Tiffany a while back at a jam at Bella’s Pizzeria. These guys had a great folksy-bluegrass sound going for them! I loved hearing Jason and Tiffany harmonize through the vocal parts backed by some good acoustic instrumentals!

Ross Pead – I ended my night at Darwin’s catching the last set of Ross Pead and grabbing a burger before heading home for the night. Ross is always a great way to wind the night down and relax.
