Next up was Waking the Bates. I thought these guys were great! I snapped pics for a few songs, then decided to sit down and enjoy the show. Lead singer Nick belted out Tom-York-esque vocals while jamming on bluesy to metal riffs on either his guitar/mandolin/keyboard.

Yup, pretty damn impressive, all around. His vocals are eerily good. Can’t wait to play with these guys at The North River Tavern with FYN. Oh, and the photos look great as usual.
